If you love model trams the Robert Whetstone Tatra layouts will be operating in the Great Exhibition Hall and will show a range of tramcars not represented in the full scale tramcar collection on the following dates:
Sunday 19th May
21st – 22nd September 2019.
Robert Whetstone Tatra Tram
On 13th October, the David Gould layouts will be operating and the Museum will allow visiting model trams to operate on the layout (track gauge 2⅝ inches) but please note this is not a test track for uncompleted models, but a visual performance for visitors. If you are interested in bringing a model tram to operate on the layout on 13th October, please contact John Huddlestone for an application form by email: John.Huddlestone@tramway.co.uk
