Please note:  You can save 50p per ticket on full priced tickets by booking online and these still qualify for free return within 12 months. (Free return is subject to when we are open and excludes the World War II events)

Under 4 year olds are admitted free of charge.

For Thursday 31st October, children aged 4-15 years who dress as wizards or villains will get FREE admission on this day.

Disabled persons’ tickets are also valid for the free return within 12 months subject to when we are open and excluding World War II events. These cannot be booked online, but may be purchased on arrival. One carer per disabled person admitted free of charge.

Dogs on a lead are accepted, provided that owners clean up after them. They are not permitted in Rita’s Tearooms or the indoor children’s play area, but can go everywhere else, including on the floor of the lower decks of trams if well behaved.

We provide a shelter at Town End for buggies and pushchairs to be left, while you ride the trams.

*Free return admission on full price tickets only (including Adult, Senior, Child and Family tickets). Does not apply on re-entry to 1940’s / World War II events and refers to the 12 month period from when you purchase your full priced ticket and available during our public opening dates only.

If you wish to take advantage of reduced rates for dressing in period costume for the World War II / 1940’s events, please pay on arrival as the reduced tickets cannot be purchased online.  The reduced tickets do not qualify for free return within 12 months.

Present your 2019 Crich Tramway Village ticket at Strutts North Mill and save £1.00 on the normal ticket prices.

At Cromford Mill receive £1 off either the Mill Manager’s Pass or Cotton Spinner’s Pass. Entry into the Mill is free, passes are needed to gain entry to the Arkwright Experience, Tours, and the Visitor Centre.

Visitors with a Cromford Mills or Strutts North Mill ticket purchased in 2019 receive the following admission prices at Crich Tramway Village (One discount per transaction may be used against reciprocal tickets. Offers cannot be combined). These discounted tickets do not offer 12 months free return.

Your Crich Tramway Village, Cromford Mill and North Mill 2019 tickets also entitle you to a 2 for 1 discount on hot drinks in the cafe at Derby Museums (One ticket discount per transaction. Offers cannot be combined).

Please note you can only pre-book full priced tickets online (and save 50p per ticket) at least 24 hours ahead. These tickets still qualify for free return admission within 12 months (free return excludes World War II events).  You can pay on arrival on the day, but this will not save you 50p per ticket.

Free admission for drivers of pre-1979 vehicles if parked in the Museum street for a minimum of 3 hours (please note on themed events your vehicle must match the theme and booking may be necessary to confirm availability).
