Piston Tour Car Club Visit

The Piston Tour Car Club will be visiting us today.

The Piston Tour Car club is made up of a group of friends who have a passion for Classic Cars, good food and wine. The members have an eclectic mix of cars from a 1920’s Alvis to 1990’s Lotus Elan and MG.

They run two events each year one on the Spring – their “Cobwebs” run, which is usually UK based visiting museums, Classic racing and places of interest. In 2025 this includes visits to Crich Tramway Village and The National Space Centre. The second event is usually an International run into Europe to attend a Classic Race meeting, museums or places of historical interest. They have recently visited The Normandy Beaches, World War 1 battlefields, the Louwman Classic Car Museum, Classic Le Mans Centenary and Classic Spa. The first photograph below shows members of the club on a visit to The British Tank Museum.
In addition to the car trips, the club drive the cars to meet at regular intervals for lunch and attend local Classic Car events in the South of England.
