Model Tram, Trolleybus and Railway Exhibition

The popular Model Tram, Trolleybus and Railway Exhibition returns to the National Tramway Museum, Crich Tramway Village on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August 2023. A total of 8 layouts will be present at the Exhibition which will include a new 51/4-inch gauge demonstration layout, built at the Museum, for the Robert Whetstone 1/8-scale model trams, which will be in operation for the public to view. Embrace nature with us in this popular outdoor activity week for all the family. The event is aimed at families and has a woodland and environmental theme. Areas covered: Alfreton (NOT Pinxton); Ashover; Blackbrook; Bonsall; Matlock (NOT Darley Dale); Middleton-by-Wirksworth; Ripley (NOT Codnor and Loscoe); Swanwick (NOT Leabrooks); Wessington; Wirksworth. Come and enjoy vintage tram rides, explore the fascinating exhibitions, see our expert craftsmen maintaining and restoring the trams and take a stroll along the woodland walk and sculpture trail.
