The Tramway Museum Society has, and always will put safety ahead of any other function. It is with regret therefore that, following a meeting of the Board of Directors, we have taken the unprecedented decision to delay recommencing the operation of trams at the Museum until an as yet unspecified date. The Museum site will remain open for visitors at a special, reduced entrance rate.

For further information please see our News & Blog page: https://www.tramway.co.uk/2024/03/22/update-to-opening-from-23rd-march-2024/

We will be charging £5 per person for an adult day ticket and children admitted free up to Friday 29th March. The Easter Eggstra event will proceed (but not include tram rides on Good Friday). We will update you regarding the Easter Weekend as soon as possible.
Please see: https://www.tramway.co.uk/2024/03/27/easter-eggstra-event/
Anyone who has bought an annual ticket will have this honoured from the day of their visit.  There are trams still viewable in the museum area on Good Friday and the Poulson Room Cafe, Red Lion Pub and shops are all open.
We are so sorry for the inconvenience, but safety is our priority here at Crich!

Dogs on a lead are welcome everywhere except the cafe and indoor soft play area.

Our charity relies on generous donations, particularly to offset the high energy costs we face in order to run trams for visitors. Your donation is always gratefully appreciated. If you would like to make a donation, it would be gratefully appreciated.

We do not know until the morning, which trams will be operating as this depends on many factors. The trams running are posted on our Twitter and Facebook sites by 10am of the day they are operating.
