Blackpool trams are always popular at Crich and a great favourite, Balcony Car 40, is almost ready to be returned to service. Having received an overhaul, and a repaint, 40 will be emerging from Crich Tramway Village’s excellent ‘Restoration Workshop’ in pristine condition and ready for many more active years carrying passengers.
We are pleased to announce that Jane Cole, Managing Director, and Bryan Lindop, Head of Heritage, at Blackpool Transport Services will be attending as guests of Crich Tramway Village, for a ceremony to re-launch Blackpool Balcony Car 40 into passenger service from 11.00am on Tuesday 26th July 2016.
