Liverpool 869 on its first day in service 2015

The launch of Liverpool ‘Liner’ 869 back into passenger service took place, as planned, at 11.00am on Saturday 19th September. The tramcar was popular throughout its first day in service and we are looking forward to seeing it operate frequently for the last few weeks of the 2015 season. Liverpool 869 – on its first day in service 2015 Now that 869 has returned to active service it will become our first choice for use on the air-braked version of the ‘Ultimate tram Driving Experience’ (although we can never guarantee the use of any specific vehicle), offering members of the public the opportunity to drive this magnificent tramcar. Each ‘Experience’ is for two candidates and there are currently only two places remaining this season: Wednesday 7th and Friday 16th October. Whilst dates are yet to be confirmed, we are already taking bookings for our 2016 season and the ‘Experience’ makes an ideal and different Christmas present. For further details please click here. You know she deserves it!
