Chernobyl visitors

A group of children from Chernobyl and their host families visited Crich Tramway Village week commencing 10th August.

They had never been on trams before and were thrilled to get the opportunity.

They presented staff members with gifts and a song from their country.

The children made the most of all the facilities. including taking the Woodland Walk, where there were various activities taking place from storytelling and clay modelling to willow weaving and meeting Woodies Wings (owls and parrots).

We look forward to welcoming a new group from Chernobyl in 2016.
