It’s Friday and both re-enactors and visitors are enjoying our 1940s Event.

The re-enactors are gearing up for the weekend, each in their own way. Some are planning their activities, or anticipating the increase in visitor numbers. Others are just making the most of the good weather that Crich is currently enjoying and taking advantage of the Red Lion’s offerings.

Most re-enactors joined in an impromptu VE-day street-party and participants were seen to include an army Major-General, and the local vicar.
