World War II – Home Front

Step back in time to Britain on the Home Front at our World War II / 1940’s Event.

Historic wartime road and military vehicles will be on display and mingling with our vintage trams from the 1940’s period.

You will be entertained with war-time songs from a variety of entertainers throughout the day including:  Jayne Darling; Kevin Mac; Marina Mae;The Bluebird Belles and Peter Wayre.

There will be children’s activities each day including an Easter egg hunt for children aged 4 – 15 years.

The Red Lion Pub will serve drinks, including cask ales, while visitors can join in with traditional pub games.

If you are a re-enactor or Veteran please download the pre-booking-conditions-of-booking and the relevant form below and return to us with your payment.  Please note that if you intend to visit on more than one occasion, it may be more cost effective to purchase a full priced ticket which permits free return (free return excludes 1940’s / World War II events).

We are now full with traders and vehicles for this event.  You can still book for the 12th – 13th August WWII / 1940’s event though.
