Winter Season Opening

This winter we are opening up part of the Village and have a whole range of activities to keep visitors entertained over the winter season.

We will be opening every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:30am – 3:30pm from the 8th of January until 28th March and admission is absolutely free*!

Visitors will be able to visit Rita’s Tearoom and the Gift shop or spend some time looking around the Workshop Viewing Gallery and Stephenson Discovery Centre.

*Throughout the winter season, parts of the site will remain closed and no trams will be in service. Free admission excludes February half term (16th – 24th)

Winter Craft Workshops

Each full day session lasts from 10:30am until 4:00pm. The course cost is £35 per person to cover material costs. Lunch and refreshments are included. Advanced booking is essential.  To book your place phone Jan on 01773 854328.

Felt Flowers with Kirsty E Smith

Kirsty will show you how to transform fluffy merino wool fibres into completely unique hand-felted flowers to be worn as a brooch or to accessorise a handbag or hat.
