Beside the Seaside

This Bank holiday weekend visitors to Crich Tramway Village may be forgiven for thinking they’ve arrived at the seaside.

The Village is being transformed into a family-themed seaside resort with a beach area complete with buckets and spades for children to build their own sandcastles.

A George Formby tribute act will be performing in the End of Pier Show where there will also be ballroom dancing demonstrations. For families there will be Punch & Judy shows and a masquerade of magic and illusions. Plus, all the way from Skegness we have the Jolly Fisherman and sea side display.

Along with unlimited trams rides out into the open countryside, indoor and outdoor play areas, fascinating exhibitions, a woodland park and sculpture trail there really is something to keep all the family entertained.
