Morris Minor Day

Sunday 13th May

Launched at the Earls Court Motor Show on 20th September 1948, the Morris Minor was the first British car to reach a production of one million. Over 1.6 million were eventually made and exported all over the world, until production ceased in 1971.

The Morris Minor Day will play host to vehicle displays, club stands and trade stands. Timed vehicle parades will also feature in the event, with Morris Minors driving through the Village’s period cobbled street, under the elegant Bowes-Lyon Bridge and weaving in and out of the vintage tram service.
