We ask that you pay on the day of your visit by cash, cheque or card. Should we have to invoice you, a £20 administration fee will be added to the booking.

You will receive an education pack and complimentary tickets when you have made a booking with us. A generic risk assessment is available to download here. The complimentary tickets allow you to come and do your own risk assessment, which we strongly urge you to do.

The Jubilee Trail, child friendly digital cameras and clipboards are all available to use free of charge during your visit. Backpacks are available to hire free of charge to schools and for a refundable deposit for families. The Museum also has an Access Tram which has a wheelchair lift. This can be booked in advance or on the day of your visit.
The department run a series of curriculum linked education sessions, which can be booked by contacting the department by phone. Details of all education sessions can be found here. Each session has an additional charge, which is also indicated.
