Here is the Boat Car decorated ready for its official launch on Sunday 3rd June. The Launch coincides with our Beside the Seaside event on Sunday 3rd and Bank Holiday Monday 4^th June.

The Village will be transformed into a family-themed seaside resort with a beach area complete with buckets and spades for children to build their own sandcastles, a George Formby tribute act on Sunday, Punch & Judy shows, ballroom dancing and seaside themed menus in Rita’s Tearoom and the Red Lion pub.

Along with beach and family entertainment, visitors will be able to ride on Blackpool trams and meet the Skegness “Jolly Fisherman” and visit the Skegness promotional beach hut, with deckchairs and authentic photo boards. We also have face painting and childrens craft activities.
