Those of you that have missed our wonderful Maths Trail over recent months need not fear, it's back and it's better than ever.

The Maths Trail originally took pupils on a tour of the Exhibition Hall, which was re-displayed in 2009/2010, which meant that the Maths Trail was obsolete as it no longer reflected the content or layout of the Exhibition Hall. The Learning Department withdrew the trail until it had been updated, which took a bit longer than expected.

However, thanks to funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, the trail's back and now takes pupils on a Maths based tour of the George Stephenson Workshop instead of the Exhibition Hall. It was trialled by pupils and staff from Crich Junior School, who gave us some fantastic feedback. It seems that we have made Maths fun, colourful and exciting. Not bad!
