Easter Craft Activities

Join us all this week for a variety of craft activities in the Learning Centre. On Monday, Tuesday and Friday we'll be making flying birds and on Wednesday and Thursday make your own wooden peg butterflies.

Half Term is always busy at Crich Tramway Village and this week we’ve had hundreds of children through the doors for our Half Term drop in craft sessions. Throughout the year we always try to have lots of different activities available for children of all ages from craft activities to school sessions. Plus our regular interactives, trails and backpacks are available whenever we’re open!

Our Alice in Woodland event is taking shape. The artists have been hard at work to creating the colourful background to the events which will be put in place very soon for this bank holiday weekend.

Derbyshire Heritage Award

We are delighted to announce that Wonderful Woods Week came Highly Commended in the Inspiration Category at the Derbyshire Heritage Awards which were held at the Museum on Friday 20th July.

Wonderful Woods Week was held over the third week of the Summer Holidays last year by the Learning Department and saw various Woodland themed activities such as Fairy Den Making, Hunt for the Wish Tree, Story Telling as well as Woodland Art and Crafts.

After last years success, Wonderful Woods Week returns this year on Monday 13th - Friday 17th August.
